About Whiskey
Whiskey is oldest dog currently at Crossing Cottage and also our longest staying resident, having arrived with us in November 2021.
He is an extremely handsome, large black greyhound who would be best suited to an experienced. He kennels well with a female greyhound.
Whiskey can be reactive towards other dogs. He has been assessed by a behaviourist who feels that this is likely due to stress caused by his extended stay in a kennel environment, together with some anxiety. She felt that with calm, confident leadership and gentle exposure to his triggers his behaviour around other breeds of dog would improve significantly.
Whiskey is amazing with people, being affectionate and loving. He just needs the right person to give him a chance.
